Spring 2019 Tax Clinics
Each spring semester, the GSO holds a series of Tax Clinics serving both domestic and international students. As part of the clinics, students have the opportunity to sit with tax experts and receive specific advice in regards to their tax preparation. For international students, the GSO also offers access to a free software for tax preparation, free federal filing, and access to experts that are knowledgeable about the the unique challenges of filing as an international student.
Tax Clinics for the 2019 Spring Semesters are to be held in the GSO office (SAC 227) and are scheduled as follows (last updated 2/7/19):
2/13: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
2/20: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
2/27: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
3/6: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
3/13: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
3/13: Special Tax Clinic for Students from China (1:00 PM- 3:00 PM)
3/20: No Tax Clinic (Spring Break)
3/27: General Tax Clinic (10:00 AM to Noon)
3/27: Special Tax Clinic for Students from India (1:00 PM- 3:00 PM)
4/3: General Tax Clinic (Extended hours 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
4/10: Final General Tax Clinic (Extended hours 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
4/15: Tax Deadline (No Tax Clinic, just good to have in the calendar)
Before coming to the tax clinic please collect all of your tax forms and fill out a taxpayer checklist available at this link.
Tax clinics are first come, first serve but we have not had problems in the past serving everybody. It is recommended you arrive 15 minutes early.

Free Filing for International Graduate Students
