ROHIT HANCHNAL
Office Hours:
Rohit is a second-year Master's student in Engineering Artificial Intelligence at Stony Brook University. His academic interests focus on Deep Learning and Algorithms. Outside of academics, he enjoys watching anime, exploring coffee shops and by his own admission, procrastinating more often than he'd like.
Rohit currently serves as the President of the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), where he advocates for the interests of graduate students and serves as the primary liaison between the graduate student body and the university administration. His personal motto is 'Kayakave Kailasa', which means "Work is Worship."

Harsh enjoys bringing people and ideas together. With a technical background and a passion for organization, he loves building efficient systems, planning initiatives and turning ideas into action. Above all, he's committed to supporting graduate students, listening to their concerns and ensuring their voices are represented.

PRERANA SOMANI

Prerana Somani is a second-year Master's student in Data Science. She enjoys meeting new people, getting involved in campus activities and helping create a more engaging and connected graduate student experience.
As GSO Secretary, she values being approachable, listening to students' ideas and concerns and ensuring they stay informed about opportunities and events. Whether she's organizing initiatives, working on a new project or chatting with students around campus, she's always happy to connect and hear new perspectives.

VIRAJ CHOGLE

Viraj is a Master's student in Computer Science. He is passionate about keeping the GSO's finances transparent and making it easier for graduate students to understand and navigate the reimbursement process.
Outside of coursework, he enjoys staying active in the campus community and finding ways to make student funding work better for everyone.
